Studio Information and Policies

General Policies:
The Studio is not responsible for personal articles lost or misplaced. Please label all shoes and clothing articles. No one (including students and parents) may solicit the students or their families on the Studio premises for any reason, without prior permission of the Director. We do not assume responsibility for students except during their class time; children under the age of six should not be left unattended in the Studio Lobby. Students of all ages are to wait inside the Studio for their ride. Parents and students may use our telephone when needed, but please remember it is a Business Phone and limit your use to a minimum. Loyalty and positive attitude are assets which parents can contribute to the well-being of our Studio. Your attitude influences the attitude of your child and can affect his/her progress as well as his/her relationship with the Teacher and classmates. We invite Parents to make an appointment with the Teacher or Director, or request a phone call, should questions or problems arise. If you have any questions or comments, please see the front desk, which is staffed during all class times. We are always interested in improving our Dance Education programs.

There are no refunds given for any reason:
Tuition is not per lesson or per week, and is not pro-rated for partial months if a student misses class. You may not "skip a month" if you expect to participate in Recital.

Dress Code:
Appropriate Dancewear and shoes are required for all classes by the third class meeting. Hair should be pulled off the face and secured.

Ballet: Pink tights, Solid color leotard (Pre-Dance, Combo, and Adult classes); Light Blue Leotard (Level I); Pink Leotard (Level II); Lavender Leotard (Level III); Pink Ballet shoes for girls, Black Ballet Shoes for boys. Black pants or shorts with a white t-shirt for boys only, no shorts or pants for girls in ballet class. Hair must be pulled back and off the face. Long hair must be secured in a bun or braid.

Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical: Pink or Tan tights, solid color leotard. Black or Tan tap shoes (ask your teacher), Black or Tan jazz shoes (ask your teacher), bare feet for Modern.

Hip-Hop, Acro, Acting: Solid color leotard or shirt: Jazz Sneakers for Hip-Hop, Bare feet for Acro, Dance Shoes for Acting Class (ask your teacher).
